Louis Vuitton Temporary Tattoos!

If you were thinking perhaps temporary tattoos as fashion accessories were a fad and would come and go with the Chanel line, drop that thought!  At the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 Menswear Fashion Show in Paris, which began today, male models are taking the runway wearing temporary tattoos.

The models are wearing temporary tattoos of Chinese zodiac signs – sometimes intermingled with Vuitton’s interlocking LV symbols – on their necks and calves, and their translucent button-down shirts are printed with similar tattoo designs.

Just this afternoon, the New York Times referred to these ‘skin tattoos’ as “the ultimate upscale accessory.”

If you’ve been following our blog, you know that we temporary tattoo aficionados here at Tattoo Manufacturing fully embrace the concept of temporary tattoos as fashion accessories.

There are those occasions when you’re dressing up to go out and you pay special attention to every element of your look.  Adding a temporary tattoo to your ensemble is perfect because it compliments your look and is very easy to apply.  (it may be the most effortless part of your dress-up routine)  Plus, it’s very fashionable and trendy.

Not only does this fashion show confirm the role of temporary tattoos in style but it introduces the category to men.  For more, check out this April post on fashion temporary tattoos featuring Chanel and Henna.

What an exciting day in the world of fashion and temporary tattoos!
